I have left it with my automotive repair specialists several times, but they cannot find anything on the diagnostics nor are they able to replicate the situation. It seems to occur most often when backing up, but on occasion it does seem to happen when the AC kicks in. I know there is an automatic surge, but sometimes it is more than just a small boost. If I hit the brake, it seems to cause it to return to normal. Last night was the first time it really occurred when I could do some investigation. There never has been any diagnostic indication of a problem. Also, the vehicle has less than 150k miles and is well maintained.
