Ford dealer said to disconnect battery for one hour, i did that but still shows "error"
I am not really sure on older models, but. Hold down the #1 and #4 buttons at the same time, for 5 to 10 seconds. This should get you to the spot or a menu to enter your code.

hi, yeah this is a common problem. And the dealership will charge you about £40 just to reset the radio so they can get the code (thats what they tell you anyway)
if you can take the radio out and post the serial number that is on the side, should start with the letter M****** i should be able to post you the radio code using your serial number.

You would have to remove the radio and this label will be on the right hand side...
There are different codes for different radios. I'm sorry, I can't think of an easier way aside from taking it to the dealer or going to...
