I removed the air cleaner and started removing the intake manifold
Drain the coolant, remove the exhaust pipe(s) from the exhaust manifolds, remove heater hoses from heads, remove, rocker covers from the heads, remove cam belt covers and cam belt, undo the head bolts, and remove heads, this is a short version of removing the heads, but I got the feeling this job might be a little big, if you don't know for sure what you doing. special if it has to go back together as well.

the easiest way to remove the head is to completely remove the exhaust manifold from the engine and turbo assy. you CAN just unbolt it from the engine , but it takes a good bit of wiggling to get it off if you are leaving thre manifold in the car

its easy my friend, take your tools, drain engine oil and coolant, remove left side rocker ornament and air duct of intake manifold, collector, hose wires, harness etc, remove ignition coils, egr tube, intake manifold collector supports and the manifold( right cylinder head only,) remove intake manifold, and replace knock sensor to avoid some trouble in the future
