SOURCE: pulls to the right when driving, wears right tire uneven

Ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm and tie rod ends are all problems with these vehicles. If any of these parts are worn it can cause your problem and it cannot be properly aligned until the parts are replaced..

SOURCE: I have 2004 chevy impala that needs front wheel

Hi:
Usually the shop that does the alignment will check the status of all four wheels and tell you if they are in or out, before you pay. That was the case for me, when I had an alignment, when I bought new tires. My back tires were wearing ok, but the alignment was slightly off, so I had all four wheels lined up . The cost difference was slightly more than just a front alignment. If you are on a tight budget, then you could let the rear tire alignment go.

SOURCE: rods in rear are bent causing tires to wear

do you mean the tie rods or are you just looking there and see a part that looks bent? if both tires are wearing uneven, it could be just a rear wheel alignment that you need. did you just buy this car? it's possible something under the car is bent from a previous accident, but if you had this car for awhile and this problem just began then it may be just an alignment........good luck..p.s......if both tires are wearing uneven then it's unlikely a" rod "is bent , there would have to be a " rod " bent on both sides which is too coincidental.

How do I do an alignment on the rear end my tires are wearing down fast

Your problem is most likely caused by worn struts not just being out of alignment. Having said that Your best choice is to go to a discount shop like Walmart and spend the $50. Or you can get a basic alignment set from harbor freight and still spend the $50 and take four hours of time to do it. Or you can get 4 pieces of 2" x 2" alum angle that are 10' long. Clamp one to each of your wheels using bar clamps. Then measure the difference in angle front to back. First get all four tires to run parallel to each other. Then set the fronts wheels to be toed in about 3/8" toward front center each side. This is a down and dirty rough way to do it but the car will drive straight. Like I said earlier your problem is most likely much more than just an alignment and if so then you won't be able to adjust it far enough to get it all back online. Good luck and hope this helps.

My rear tires wear really fast on the inside

if wearing on teh inside then then they are towing out ,unless they are laying over at teh top too much either way its a visit to the chassis align workshop as it would seem your vehicle has been in a bump or a shunt somewhere along the line

Tire wear

does the car make noise from the rear when you go at a high speed. If it does it may be your bearings. I had my bearing wear out on me at 15000 miles.
