Water runs from underneath engine above oil filter and comes pouring off of transmission. Tried 2 Barrs Leak for Heater Cores,...Stop for a few minutes then started again, slowly then pours out again.
Personaly I would take and have pressure tested, I would say most likely a freeze plug, GM is bad about replacing them, May cost around $100, It depends on what freeze plug is leaking.
I realize it may be a pain, but, you really need to find where the leak is located? Can you feel around the top of bell-housing when problem is ongoing? Maybe there is a gasket problem of some kind? Sometimes, I use a mirror in places where it is hard to see, shine a flashlite or drop lite into the mirror, maybe a little lite back there will help?
Sounds like you have a freeze plug, some call it a frost plug that has rusted out. Very inexpensive to fix yourself.

Most likely is a freeze plug there is more then one n therein a row most times front to back ur looking on the block of the engine they r round maybe 2 inches around they set up in a little bit they r metal but if it was replaced once before they can be a white rubber n i recommend thats what u replace it with if u never done it before thats the way to go good luck hope this helps u if u dont know wht they look like google an image of them and it will give u n idea what ur looking for there might even be a video on youtube showing u how to change them
NEVER NEVER put any stop leak in any vehicle component
Next your heater core will be plugged, if not already & then
the radiator as well
You CAN NOT get that stuff out once it is in there
Your asking if it is a part we can not see from the internet
Think about how we perceive these questions
I it is a freeze plug, look yourself,only you have the problem
& the vehicle
If we say yes it is--& it is not-- then what?
Where they are-- if they even exist-- should be in a picture of
the block on the internet
If you not a car kind of guy with experience, you should take
a different vehicle to a repair shop & just talk about it there

check for 2 steel cooling lines going to the radiator for leaks at the transmission....but more than likely the oil is coming from the valve covers...if you fix it use the rubber gaskets. if it doesn't leak much just hose the tranny once in a while for it is a rough and it is expensive undertaking at a garage.....it pro is not the rear main seal-which is also not a picnic....keep a check on you eng oil level.....luck to you

Usually you can get rubber freeze plugs and if the freeze plug that is in the very back is leaking you will see the water coming from between the bellhousing and block - just be sure it isn't leaking above that and just looks like it is coming from the freeze plug between the block and tranny.
I would for sure check with a local mechanic first and let them see if it is just a heater hose or something above it. Usually a freeze plug goes for life.
