Mazda eunos Model: E-CAEPE VEHICLE ID: CAEPE

Mazda eunos Model: E-CAEPE VEHICLE ID: CAEPE 111652 Transmission problem I have changed the gear box twice but still have the same problem. The gear is not shifting from 3 to 4. It is only on 3 and on the dash board the hold indicator is flashing every time I shift the gear to drive 3. It struggles to change to 4 but it always slips. Even though the transmission fluid is full.I tried cleaning the sensor on the air filter and the hold sign didn't come on for while and came back on again. Please really need help here. Any effective solutions to this?

SOURCE: 1993 mazda mx6 transmission is not slipping, but will not shift into higher gears. Will run at high RPM's and not shift up. Any suggestions on what it might be.. Mechanical, electrical, fluid change,

sounds like a shift solenoid in the trans.

Mazda EUNOS, model E.CAEPE D7. Transmission problem. Why doesn't the gear doesn't Shift to 3 and 4?

I think your referring to an Automatic tranny, "solenoid is a likely cause" or anything related to the solenoid eg. no electric power supplying the solenoid or either its dirty or clogged, mostly likely cause is when you run your vehicle on flooded roads

if you look under the hood there is a fuse box that will have a large fuse that is labeled btn. what you need to do is pull this fuse and then hold the brake pedal for about a minute. we call this fuse the back to normal fuse because when you do this it will clear every thing in the memory and put it back to normal operating specs

i think you need a new mechanic, i got that problem twice, each time the transmission had to be changed because the 1st gear was shot. i eventually changed to a 5fwd gear-box which increased performance like you would never imagine.
