I have a 2006 dts. It was running fine when I parked it friday night. Then saturday morning it started and was rattleing and mis firing. Also back firing threw the intake giving code p0300.

Marvel mystery oil in engine oil. sea foam in the gas tank. Filled the tank with gas. While the engine was running with the intake hose from the air cleaner off could hear the back firing in the intake hose. Ran some ATF threw the intake hose.

SOURCE: engine turns over fine , car will not start.

well the first part of your question i was all ready to tell you to put a new fuel pump in, now not so sure, there is a relay for fuel pump, can you hear pump cycle and relay click? relay under hood you will have to listen close they don't run long maybe a couple secounds, if you don't relay bad. if you do pump could be bad, do fuel pressure test pump could be weak. don't think sunroof and turn signals are related, but stranger things have happend.

The cylinders are numbered as on the spark pack you changed. You might have done better putting the seafoam in the tank as an injector cleaner. Not sure why you changed so many parts, you seem to know how to get the codes from test connector lead hookup and the blink pattern. You might also want to check the fuel rail pressure and the crank and cam angle sensors. Before replacing the injector, swap the #4 injector with the adjacent one and see it the code moves with the injector or stays put. If the code stays on #4, then check the injector wiring, if it moves clean or replace the injector.

The problem may be the gas that sat in the carburator. Gas goes bad faster in smaller quantities. Have a look inside to see if you have "gummed" up passages, or jets. Don't forget to change the fuel filter.
Good luck. (I have an 89, and it's a great truck, 300k miles on it.)

You have an over fueling problem. The first thing I'd do is check the fuel pressure and regulator if it has one. It isn't that uncommon for the regulator to have a split diaphragm. If this happens, fuel will be drawn directly out of the fuel rail and into the intake manifold. The reason I said: "if it has one", some cars use a direct system with no fpr. You'll have to look along the fuel rail for somthing that looks like the picture I've attached. Pull the vacuum line off it and see if there is fuel coming out of the nipple, if there is, the fpr is bad and you've found the problem. The misfire code is likely being caused by the over fueling but it would probably be a good idea to change the plugs once this is resolved. Let me know what you find and if that's not it I'll do some further checking.
