Here is a good forum to find your answer.

A few few things to remember: Purchase fresh new brake fluid and have a clean MityVac pump (both can be purchased through AutoZone, NAPA, Orielys, etc..) , plenty of clean rags, brake line clamps to stop the fluid from leaking when you initially pull the line off.
Be prepared to bleed ALL the brakes after changing the lines. When bleeding the brakes (after replacing the old lines) work from the caliper that is the longest distance from the brake master cylinder first to the shortest distance line.

If the brakes work but you have to push very hard, try checking the vacuum supply to the brake booster with the engine running.

Ford truck xlt ranger2.3 litter oil in throttle body ? good or bad

I found out with my old 94 Ranger 2.3L that the oil breather does not have a filter element, which causes oil to "naturally" (as Ford puts it) accumulate in the throttle body and air intake hose. You can get an inline breather element at any parts store for a few bucks and install it on the breather line without harming anything, and this will stop. Cheers.

Replace rear brake line hose on 2000 ford ranger xl 4x4

Not a hard job it will take a lil money tho u need the steel line long enough to reach from master cylinder to the wheel then just run the line along the old line I wouldnt remove the old line from clips unless you want to end up replacing them all. Securing the new line with zip ties will work

I'm leaking brake fluid in my the rear my truck

Hello rodeure
The brake fluid can leak from a few places in the rear. Bad wheel cylinder/brake hose or the most likely cause, a rusted brake line.
Fill the master cylinder and have somone step on the brake while you
look under the truck. When you find the leak, the best thing to do is to
replace the lines up to the front valve (they don't rot in one spot) then
bleed the brakes and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

Dear Smoking And Locking.......
It sure sounds to me like you are having a brake issue on the lf of your vehicle..Obviously your lf brake assembly is not releasing. You could have a seized caliper, a restricted lf brake hose, a restricted brake line, or pad material that is unsafe, it's time to get those brakes inspected ASAP!!!! Brake repairs on that year of vehicle are fairly simple for the first timer....if you need any more help just get back to me ...THX HOPE I COULD HELP!!

Front Passenger brakes rubbing

Dis brakes have residual pressure thar keeps the pads in constant contact with the roter. It is very light contact, so not to worry. If left is not in contact with rotor then chk it for loose wheel bearings.
