The navigation system in my 2014 dodge journey with 8.4 screen says loading maps and doesn't do anything

Check the disk located behind the screen. If you cannot see how to open the panel, hold the regular cd eject button for at least ten seconds.

I just bought a 2008 ford mustang and everytime I attempt to load a disc it reads bad disc. What can I do to fix this issue

Hi, try a retail CD, a newish one. If that is rejected try using a good lense cleaner. That may clear the issue . If it does not you may have to troubleshoot with the owners manual or seek assistance from an ICE technician

EO3 COMES UP ON MY CDPLAYER CAUSE I HIT A BUMP IN THE RODE

Hi there:

Here are the listing as to what the error codes refer to:
- E01 - Focus Error - Disc is not loaded correctly, or condensation on disc
- E02 - Disc Error - Disc is dirty, scratched, or deformed; or excessive vehicle vibration
- E03 - Mechanism error - Loading or eject error. Pickup-up is out of position.

The E03 error typically occurs when the CD player mechanism is damaged. Try different types of CDs; a new music CD would be the best to try. If that also gives the same E03 error, your CD player probably needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

CD WILL NOT LOAD SAYS NO DISC IN PLAYER

You listed this in the auto section, so I'm not sure just where you have the problem. When you receive an error like this and you've tried several disks with the same result it means your CD player is bad and must be replaced.

Cannot get CD to eject. It plays, but won't eject.

I am having the same problem with my Ford Escape. Try hitting the load button instead of eject and it may come right out.

CD Player won't work

Try pressing the eject and load buttons at the same time, with the car ignition in the ON position. You might have to hold both buttons for 15 to 30 seconds for this to work.

Good luck!
