Was working last time it was driven a week ago, cannot find a fuse for blower motor in either fuse block ( front & rear ) and the rear heat works fine but nothing up front.
Good luck with this one....
It has the "3 wire blower motor" in the engine compartment? If yes, then 2 wires should be power and the other one ground. The front blower motor always has power going to it. I think its a "maxi fuse" near the battery. I am TOTALLY going off memory here, so take it with caution.
I am pretty sure if you take a test light across the outer 2 wires with the unit disconnected, it should light up because there is power and ground. The center wire is a little more tricky. With the blower motor disconnected, there should not be power on the center wire, if there is power suspect the HVAC programmer under the passenger side of the dash (aluminium box). Now, with the blower motor plugged in, there should be power on the center wire with, or without, the key on. If you do not have power on the center wire, and have power on the other wire, along with a ground, with the blower plugged in, then you need a blower motor. I know its expensive, but the programmer is considerably more, so consider yourself lucky if you only need a blower motor.
This is because the blower resistor is integrated with the blower motor (and some kind of solid state device at that). One of the wires is an output of 12VDC, I am remembering the center wire, but I think it is thinner than the other 2. When the car is running, and the blower is commanded on, the HVAC programmer grounds the center wire, with PWM, to turn on the blower motor.
Now, if with the blower motor connected, there are 2 powers and a ground, you most likely need an HVAC programmer. I have only seen instrument clusters go bad like maybe once or twice in the 15 years I have worked on Cadillac's. I assume the climate controls are part of your instrument cluster, different years may have a separate unit for the HVAC controls.
If this diagnostics lead to the HVAC programmer, an aluminium box under the passenger side of the dashboard, then I want you to try a couple of things first....
1) Unplug all the connectors on the Programmer, count to 15 and plug them back in. I think it has 2, or maybe 3 connectors. Don't bother unplugging the vacuum lines, they suck if I remember correctly. If it now works, then GREAT stop there and prosper....
2.) One time, on a 97 - 99 Deville, which is a totally different chassis, i had a blown fuse in the rear electronics bay ( the front of the trunk under the vertical carpet that covers the backseat). The fuse was not on a single diagram for the HVAC, but somehow replacing this fuse solved my front blower motor problem. Please check all the fuses. I do not know if your car has a rear electronics bay, or if you just have fuses under the carpet by the tail lights, in the engine compartment, and under the dash on the drivers side of the car, but please check them all with a test light. Even though this car is old, it is still complicated.
Sorry to be long winded. I really hope this helps.....

I would recommend a salvage yard to get a good used one alot cheaper also try this place they carry only GM parts: Schram Auto and truck parts 1-800-292-1032 and also explain to them the problem you are having and these guys can assist you in getting the right part
SOURCE: 2003 escalade rear climate control no heat just cold air.
there are two separate actuators for the rear system. one controls temperature and the other controls vents from head to feet. mine problem was the later. that acutuator for esv 2003 is 89018365. it is located just below third seat cup holder passenger side and can be replaced simply by removing cup holder. triangular shaped part with wire harness.
SOURCE: 99' Escalade a/c front vent blows cool air an rear blow cold air.
i have the same problem, my rear a/c blows great very cold, the front a/c blows but it is not cold at all. I had the the a/c seviced and it was vacumed and correct ammount put back in, no problems, the front still blows but it is not cold, i have checked everything and the a/c guy said it might be the door not opening. any help? still not working

Have you tried smacking the blower motor? If it starts running after you hit it, replace it.
SOURCE: 2004 escalade, I have no
My thought would be around the fuses. Pop off the fuse cover located on the side of the dash board on the driver side. There is a fuse that controls the blower motors and such. Attached is a picture of the fuse lay out, you will want to replace the one labeled HTR/AC and see if that helps
Good luck
