Location of fuse box

The fuse box is located behind the glove box. If you have the manual that came with the car, the fuse stuff starts on page 256. If you don't have the manual, you should download it from the internet as a pdf. It explains how to get to the fuse box, and which fuse controls what, with a diagram of the location of each fuse and its size and color.

One fuse box is in engine compartment under hood on the drivers side and is marked fuse box right on top of it and one fuse box is located on side of dash board on driver side. Open drivers door and you will see it. Bottom side of covers have maps and are labeled for what each fuse is for and what size amp to use. "Do not use a higher amp fuse than it says to use"!! Or you could burn up wiring!

check the fuse box cover and or the fuse box lid. you might find a decal labeling for the fuses

You can find the fuse box, under the steering wheel. Remove the plastic cover, and look on the back for the diagram to see which fuse to replace. Usually for the cigarette lighter there's a small size 15A fuse.

The turn signal flasher is located under the dash to the right of the steering column on most models. The hazard flasher is under the dash, to the left of the steering column. On 1980 and later models, both the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are located at the lower left hand and the upper right hand corners of the fuse block respectively. There is an inline fuse for the underhood/spotlamp circuit. The fuse box is marked to indicate fuse size and the circuit(s) protected.

in the fuse box up by the firewall on the drivers side .... fuse 13 fuel injector relay is the only fuel related fuse/relay that i could locate.fuse 9 in the passenger compartment fuse box as well.... what size motor is in your car ?

I have a 1987 740 & the fuse box is located behind the ash tray in the center console. After removing the ash tray you can access the fuse box. Each fuse description, size, & location are listed on the back of the ash tray.  

FRONT:
-blown No. 18 {15A) fuse in the under-dash
fuse/relay box.

REAR:
-blown No. 18 (15A) fuse in the under-dash
fuse/relay box.
- blown No.3 (10A)fuse in the under-dash fuse/
relay box.
