Depending on the vehicle. There are a number of things to check. First check your fuses. You may have a bad heater control, a vaccum leak (depending on make and model of car) a short in the wiri g or a bad servo that switches from cold to hot. But first let the car get to operating temperature with the heat and fan completely of after the temp gauge goes up turn the heat on hot and the fan up. If it blows hot for a few seconds then back to cold then you need a heater core flush or heater core replacement

Have power at switch but seat does not heat up

have your local dealership run your vehicle identifcation number for any outstanding recalls its possible that your vehicle has a heated seat recall many of chrysler jeep dodge products have been recalled for faulty heated seats if there is power and ground all the way to the seat from the switch its pretty safe to say your heated seat element is the problem and if you dont do this for a living or a hobby its also pretty safe to say your gonna be pissed off by the time your done.

1999 blazer heat on the floor dont work just blows out the defrost. heat works good just cant get it to blow on the floor. is this a problem in the swich or vacume

Most likely the vacuum. The (door) that switches the heat from floor, dash, defrost, isn't switching. The door could be stuck and even though it maybe trying switch, it can't from being stuck or in a bind.

My heater dont work in my car

if you haven't changed the heater core yet do so . make sure that there is no air lock by flushing water thru it . and still if you have no heat you may also have to buy a new control switch located in the dash board . the switch that controls the ac / heat .

Heater seats dont work but light comes on.

Ok it is obvious since the light is coming on you are getting power to the switch. It could be a heated seat relay. Im fairly sure jeeps use a relay after the switch that is where I would start. Check and see if the Heated seat relay, and fuse are good

My Backup (revers) lights dont light up.Fuses & lights not burt.

As far as your back up lights....check the neutral safety switch. This was a BIG problem on the 98-99 Cadillacs.

On the heated seats....you'll have to check for voltage at the harness where it connects to the seat(s) if you can do this.
