To ,set the static timing on your 6.9.

1. Remove the fast idle bracket and solenoid from the pump.

2.Slightly loosen the 3 nuts that hold the pump to the engine.

3.Turn the pump until the timing mark on the pump mounting flange aligns with the mark on the pump gear housing, within .030 inch.

4. Remove the tool and tighten pump mounting nuts securly and re-check the timing marks.

5. Reinstall the fast idle bracket and solenoid.

Once this is done, it will have to go to a diesel repair shop to be "dynamic timed". This pinpoints the timing exactly but must be done with very specialized tools.

I need timing belt marks for new timing belt on a 1994 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L 4 cylinder

Firstly the no.1 piston should be at TDC (compression).

The upper camshaft sprocket has a smaller hole in the web. This should be lined up exactly with the TDC timing mark behind it on the cam bearing cap. In this position it will be vertically upwards.

At the same time the notch in the crankshaft pulley timing flange should be opposite the 0 degrees mark on the timing marks on the front of the lower belt cover.

Hi need to know what timing marks to use when replacing cams

The timing marks to use are spot-drilled on the faces of the timing gears.
The timing marks on the camshaft gears must align side-by-side, and as closest as possible on the Toyota,Camry 2.2 engine.

1984ford f150 Ido not know how to put the truck into 4wheel drive

There should be a lever shifter on the floor board with 2h- 4h-4L on the knob. Pull or push the lever to 4H then get out and go to the front axle. In the middle of the front tires there should be a locking front hub assembly, turn the selector to lock, do this on both wheels, your truck should now be in 4 wheel drive. To put it in 4L you need to havt the transmission in nuetral before you shift the lever. Once done playing make sure you unlock your front axel(hubs) and place the lever in 2H.
