The dealer where you bought the vehicle should be able to help you with this code. Sometimes a sticker is affixed inside the glovebox too.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: what is P1361 Intermittent Interruption In TDC 1

Check out the Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor, connector 124 (gray and on the distributor) check power and grounds. It's missing signal from the TDC sensor in the distributor and causing a misfire.

The codes states that it's an intermittent loss of sensor signal, definitely sounds like wiring. Check for the obvious visual stuff first, corrosion, any cuts or holes in the wiring insulation and then start using a multimeter to check the voltage drop, continuity and resistance for all the connectors and wiring.

I suspect this may be too technical, but you asked about how to fix the problem and this is the answer.
It may be time to take the car to a qualified mechanic.

P1361 = Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor A (Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor) Intermittent Interruption,or Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor Intermittent Interruption.

P01361

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1361 s a "manufacturer-specific" DTC, and for a 2000 Honda Accord, it applies ONLY to the 3.0L V-6 engine (which would have been nice-to-know up front - especially when you are asking for help repairing your engine controls).
DTC P1361 is defined by Honda as "TDC1 Sensor Intermittent Interruption".

(Note: TDC = Top Dead Center. PID= Process IDentifier)
A diagnostic scan tool capable of watching the TDC sensor PIDs (and preferably, graphing them) is REQUIRED to: (A) determine if this is truly an intermittent condition or a "hard fault". (B) verify PID data while testing for intermittent connections in the wiring harness and connectors. (C) verify that the concern is actually fixed after any repairs are made.

What is involved to fix check engine light codes P1361 and P1362 and how much should I pay a reputable mechanic

The code P1361 and P1362 can relate to a TDC sensor failure, the plug could be dirty or you may need to replace the sensor. Here's a walkthrough:

http://www.civicforums.com/forums/115-engine/323984-diy-tdc-sensor-cmp-sensor-replacement-w-pics.html

P1362 means the PCM isn't getting a signal from the TDC sensor. The TDC sensor is actually the camshaft position sensor.

TDC is also a Crank Position Sensor, Advanced Auto Parts has them for $70, or you can pick it up from your local dealer.

How do I fix a Interruption in TDC #1 sensor circuit problem on a 2001 Honda Civic? THe code is P1361 and P1362

P1361 is a misfire code, and P1362 is a TDC sensor (or crankshaft position sensor) code. The known possible repair is to replace the crankshaft position sensor. You may have to ask for a tdc sensor as some parts providers follow the mfr's part name.

My honda civic 98, had a check light engine ON P1361 and P1399

P1361 is an intermittent signal from the TDC sensor .. thats located under the top timing belt cover on the right side of the engine .. about half way down that cover is the connector for the TDC sensor .. check that connector and its wiring ...P1399 is an ignition problem .. and thats likely caused by the TDC sensor being intermittent .. you might be able to fix the connector if its loose or full of water but the sensor is hard to get to .. very tight place to work in but not impossible .. this is something that should be fixed soon .. no emergency but the timing may drift off if the problem persists ..
