About DTC P1800, I suggest check the harness and verify it is plugged in and still functioning. Also, try checking your vac tubes to verify that they are not reversed. Also read this TSB with details about correct diagnostic: DTC P1800 VIAS CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE

The VIAS control solenoid valve cuts the intake manifold vacuum signal for power valve control. It responds to ON/OFF signals from the ECM. When the solenoid is off, the vacuum signal from the intake manifold is cut. When the ECM sends an ON signal the coil pulls the plunger downward and feeds the vacuum signal to the power valve actuator.

DTC detecting condition:
• An excessively low or high voltage signal is sent to ECM through the valve
Possible cause:
• Harness or connectors (The solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted.)
• VIAS control solenoid valve

Will need replaced the solenoid valve (P/N - 149558J10A). The valve is located under the engine cover. It's a Nissan only part so you have to order from the dealer, either online or in person. It's cheaper online. Check this sample Nissan engine location (click image for zoom)...

DTC P1147 - Bank1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor maximum voltage monitoring
Component Description: The heated oxygen sensor 2, after three way catalyst, monitors the oxygen level in the exhaust gas on each bank.

Even if switching characteristics of the heated oxygen sensor 1 are shifted, the air fuel ratio is controlled to stoichiometric, by the signal from the heated oxygen sensor 2.

This sensor is made of ceramic zirconia. The zirconia generates voltage from approximately 1V in richer conditions to 0V in leaner conditions. Under normal conditions the heated oxygen sensor 2 is not used for engine control operation.

DTC detecting condition: The maximum voltage from the sensor is not reached to the specified voltage.

Possible cause:
Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted)
Heated oxygen sensor 2
Fuel pressure
Injectors

Majority of cases this is either a faulty O2 sensor, or short/open in wiring harness. Bank1 sensor2 is the rear O2 sensor on the passenger (right) hand side (click image for zoom):

Here is simple test with voltmeter to test O2 sensor. If it fails test, replace sensor. If not, then you will have to start tracing the wiring harness for a short/open in it (click for zoom):

P0740 NISSAN - Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Fault
Possible causes
  • Low transmission fluid level

The EVAP codes you are getting are directly related to your

\'vent control valve\'. This is VERY COMMON on this generation

Maxima. Up under yer car behind the left rear wheel is your

EVAP canister. (black plastic box) Your vent control valveis

bolted directly to this canister, with 2 screws. There should

be a vacuum line connected to it. Be sure it IS, and that it

looks like it\'s in good condition.

These valves are notorious for going bad, even more

so than the ignition coilpacks! They dont cause any

decrease in performance, but it usually decreases gas mileage,

and it will cause it to fail emissions testing. But worst of all, it

makes that MIL light on the dash flash...

It\'ll cost ya about $60 from the dealer.. have yer VIN ready..

there are 2 different ones for this generation: 1 with a nipple

and o-ring, the other with no nipple (requires separate o-ring).

Here is the definition. Cost would depend on your area and the actual problem found after testing.

P1800 NISSAN Description When the engine is running at low or medium speed, the power valve is fully closed. Under this condition, the effective suction port length is equivalent to the total length of the intake manifold collector's suction port including the intake valve. This long suction port provides increased air intake which results in improved suction efficiency and higher torque generation.
The surge tank and one-way valve are provided. When engine is running at high speed, the Engine Control Module (ECM) sends the signal to the Variable Intake Air System (VIAS) control solenoid valve. This signal introduces the intake manifold vacuum into the power valve actuator and therefore opens the power valve to two suction passages together in the collector.
Under this condition, the effective port length is equivalent to the length of the suction port provided independently for each cylinder. This shortened port length results in enhanced engine output with reduced suction resistance under high speeds.

You may want to have someone else take a look at it. The Nissan P1800 trouble code is not a transmission control problem. It is described as follows:

Trouble diagnosis name: VIAS control solenoid valve circuit.
Component Description:
The VIAS control solenoid valve cuts the intake manifold vacuum signal for power valve control. It responds to ON/OFF signals from the ECM. When the solenoid is off, the vacuum signal from the intake manifold is cut. Check your vacuum hoses to make sure they are in good shape and are securely attached Aslo check the wiring harness is ok and securely attached as well. If they are, you’ll probably need to replace your VIAS. It's right next to the throttle body.

Torque converter mulfunction

This is a circuit code. It could be the Transmission control module(TCM), the solenoid, or the wires in between. I would start by checking the wires running between the transmission control module and the transmission. Look for any obvious signs of chaffing or breakage. If the harness is ok, replace the solenoid pack in the transmission. If this still doesn't fix, replace the TCM.
