My 92 lincoln town car will not start i have replaced the starter, the neutral safety switch and the battery but when i turn key nothing happens but can jump starter and will crank

Yes there is a starter relay in the wiring diagram.
The yellow and lite blue wire goes from the starter solenoid to the relay. There is a yellow wire from the relay to a 30amp fuse. The key switch powers thru the neutral safety switch and then powers the relay on.

Car won't start battery good won't crank 98 lincoln

you need to find the starter solenoid and jump the two largest posrs with booster cables .if it canks repace the starter.if all your hearing now is a clicking sound you need to jump power to the solenoids start wire,a push on wire on the smaller post of the solenoid ,if it cranks replace the solenoid.if neither makes it crank, repair the grounrd cable or remove the starter and remove the rust from the nose cone and the mounting point.

I have a 1981 lincoln mark VI 5.0 engine i just

The positive battery cable goes from the battery to one side of solenoid.(big nut). The cable that goes to the starter connects to the other side of solenoid.(big nut). Sticking out the front of the solenoid there is 1 or 2 smaller terminals. There should be a single wire (approx. 14ga or 16ga) that breaks out of the harness near the solenoid that has a black "L" shaped "push" on connector on it. Push that connector onto the small terminal on the solenoid marked "S". Hope this helps. Good luck.

I went to change the solenoid on my 88 lincoln and I turned a bolt and the whole this disinegrated, now I don't know if all the yellow wires go on the one post of the new one and the red on the other or if...

the wire going to the starter follow it down towards passenger fender down this cable depending on the solenoid is either bottom terminal or if solenoid bolts different it is on the right hand side if you are facing the solenoidThe skinney red wire goes to the S marked on the solenoid FOLLOW WIRE COMING FROM BATTERY THIS GOES ON TOP ECT. AS BEFORE ALL OTHER WIRES THAT DO NOT GO TO THE STARTER WILL GO WERE THE BATTERY CABLE GOES .
