I have changed power window motor and bought a new switch. When switch is depressed for window to go down motor turns. When switch is pushed up for motor to lift window, motor does not turn. This is happening with both motors and with motors detached from regulator. Is there a possible fault in the wiring.
Not necessarily. If the window has limit switches at top and bottom, then the bottom switch needs reset because when you push the up button there's no power put to the motor because it thinks the window isn't all the way down. Check for limit switch at bottom and reset it to go lower.

You will first need to remove the door panel on the inside. Then you will need to remove the window glass from the track it rests in. Then you need to undo all the screws that attach the regulator inside the door. At the top of the door where the glass slides up and down remove the inner and outer window track guides. Then very carefully maneuver the regulator up and out the top of the door. Reverse the procedure to replace. It sounds easy, but you need to almost be double jointed to do this. So, have great patience while doing this task. Good luck.

Check the fuse panel first, after that check your fuse relays under the hood, if not then it might be a wiring problem.

joe2 mercs is right, and that is the $ fix/proper fix, but first If window motor is doing nothing, stuck, ...try this....
NO COST and fast PROCEDURE TO try to FIX IT:
1. Sit in vehicle, on seat next to problematic window
2. Ignition key is on
3. Door in question is opened (in case you closed it)
4. While door is open, press and hold power window button in desired window travel, keep button pressed !!
5. SLAM hard the door closed with one hand while other hand holds button as per #4.
6. Watch window operate as it should.
7. Repeat 3-6 if necessary, but usually the first try works!

ISSUES
It
can be issue with motor itself. If it's not going up, then how its working down.
But still it feels like weak window motor or is issue with power window switch.
Get the voltage tested at switch and motor. Also try another working window
motor at not working window side.
