Its simple in theory. remove the serpentine belt. Then there are usually 3 to 4 bolts anchoring the compressor. One or two bolts connecting the inlet and outlet hoses with some gaskets. You need to make sure the gas is professionally removed, that is the responsible thing to do. There will be one or two electrical connectors. Just gain access to these things and you will see what else needs to be removed if its in your way. Just dont force or short cut anything to prevent other items from getting broken and snagged. If you know how to remove things it is not hard to do at all. Ford usually has them on top. i cant recall off the top of my head, but to me its all the same.
