Faulty ecu, caused by faulty ignition coil, you will have to renew ecu, coils & ht leads

Could be a defective battery, bad solenoid, or even bad ignition switch. When I was fixing cars, I always replaced the solenoid when I replaced the starter, but your mechanic might not have.

lift the car up by the rear wheels and tow it with the front wheels only on the ground or get a tow in service to put it on a towing dolly.

If its a standard transmission its likely a bearing called the pilot bearing . Its a needle bearing that fits into the flywheel and the transmission shaft fits into it .If its worn the transmission will jump in reverse move up and down on the rubber mount . Or if its an automatic then its likely the rubber mount it self or a motor mount witch is also a rubber mount there is 2 on the motor and 1 on the trany

With your foot on the brake try and move your gearshifter in to the neutral position it may start in nuetral. If not check around the switch some Mercedes have a small safety button that needs to be pushed to remove your key sometimes you can try pushing the button and moving your switch several times and it will unlock. Those are just a few things to try, good luck.
