You have a defective master cylinder.
U could definitely have a leak or bad master cylinder. also when replacing a master or repairing a leak chances are u will need a scanner to properly bleed air out of system electronically. along with ur manual bleed procedure. good luck
You have a o?l leak problem check your brake cylinder all on your 4 weels
I've seen ABS sensors get clogged up and not allowing the sensors to see the disk rotor. They were cleaned out and working fine.
It's not an easy job and probably should be done by the dealer.
SOURCE: 2001 chevy silverado 4x4 abs dash light wont go off
Once the ABS light is on there is a problem with the ABS system. You can't really guess with this stuff. Also it becomes a safety issue when abs light is on the ABS system is in-operable. Here is my advice take your vehicle to any AUTO-ZONE store and they will check for FREE and let you know why this light is on it could be anything form abs sensors(wheel sensors) or something like that, they are four of them one in each wheel so make sure to get exact info as to what is the exact code and meaning. Good Luck feel free to contact t me if ou need more info
SOURCE: parking brake pedal goes to floor
Hello;
The parking brake cables may be stretched and in need of adjustment. Follow the cables along to a nut. Then you can tighten the adjusters up on both sides until you have the proper tension. Also make certain none of the brackets are bent or broken that the cables ride through.
Thanks;

SOURCE: abs codes co281 & co265
the first of the two codes is for the brake light switch, the one that is under the dash attached to the brake rod and brake peddle. Not much to diag on that one, if its bad it's bad, and when it sets the code that means it's bad.
The second one is for the abs modual, it's under the truck on the drivers side. It is bolted to the top of the thing that has all of the brake lines going to it. MOST all of the time that code is set the modual is bad. It can be a little hard to get the bolts out they are torqs 20 or 25(i'm getting old). There are four of them holding down the modual. There are also a couple of connectors going to it. And some of the time it will blow the fuse for the abs under the hood(its in the underhood fues block). Make sure to clean off the modual before you pull it out. You don't want dirt getting in the solinoids for the BPMV(that's the thing it's bolted to).
