2001chevy Tahoe will start and die right away

There could be several possible reasons for your Chevy Tahoe to start and then die immediately. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Fuel system: Make sure you have enough fuel in the tank and that the fuel pump is functioning properly. Check the fuel filter as well.
  2. Ignition system: Check the ignition system, including the spark plugs, wires, distributor, and ignition coil. Make sure they are all working properly.
  3. Idle air control valve: The idle air control valve (IAC) helps regulate the engine's idle speed. If it's faulty or clogged, it can cause the engine to stall. Check the IAC valve and clean or replace it if necessary.
  4. Mass air flow sensor: The mass air flow (MAF) sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and helps determine the correct fuel-to-air ratio. If it's dirty or faulty, it can cause the engine to stall. Clean or replace the MAF sensor if needed.
  5. Security system: If your Chevy Tahoe has a factory-installed security system, it may be malfunctioning and preventing the engine from starting. Try resetting the security system and see if that helps.
If you're unable to diagnose and fix the problem on your own, it may be best to take your vehicle to a trusted mechanic or dealership for further diagnosis and repair.

1989 Ford F150 with moderate performance cam and headers runs rough, smells rich, idles down then up. sometimes stalls, tried different MAP sensor, signal line on both sensors shows same all the time,...

I'd pull the throttle body and clean it up as well as the idle air bypass valve....probably just better to replace the valve as they are not too pricey and great for the "buy it and try it" shot at things. Try unplugging the wires at the IAB and see if the idle changes. If it does then you know electrically it's good but still may be out of spec.
There are throttle body specific cleaners and sprays available...i would suggest using such a product.
Take care

I have a 97 chevy tahoe LT with the 5.7L. It started missing and putting out a P1345 code, And then just died. Had it pulled to my house, where i have put a new Distributor, cam sensor, crank sensor,...

P01345 IS related to curicut falure on CMP/CKP sersors respectively. This is not a good code to get.And hard do diagnose . If you have replaced the crank and cam p sensors and the distributor shaft and have a good spark and can dump fuel into throttle body and it will run. All that leaves is the fuel injection system not supplying enough fuel or the exhaust system Cat not letting the burned gase's out to much back pressure or your valves are really shoot. What do your spark plugs look like this is the best way of knowing the engine health. Get back to me

Throttle body injectors not fiering but there is fuel pressure

the injectors are fired thru the engine cotrol module but it gets its signal to fire from the pick-up located inside the distributor if you are loosing injector pulse only the ignition module is bad if you are also loosing spark when you loose injector pulse your pick up is causing the problem if you replace the pick-up i recomend you change the ignition module when doing so because they work together and you have to remove the distributor to change the pick-up

1992 gmc chevy 350 wont idle when warm

This could be a number of things but i think that your problem sounds like a vacuum leak or an EGR problem. Try listening for leaks and try un-plugging the EGR solenoid valve one time.

Distributor cap and rotor location on chevy silverado

Most chevy 5.3 do not use a cap and rotor. Most have single coil per spark plug and wire. Trace spark plug wires to coil usually above the valve cover.
