it's a very good website for vehicle problems even as old as 1991 ford..

My info says upper engine, center, close to water outlet, for the coolant temp sensor.
If your not sure look up wiring diagram for that sensor, note the wire colors. Autozone.com has free wiring diagrams as well as bbbind.com

Can't be to involved follow the big radiator hose to motor top one where it conects, thats where the t stat is under the nozzle . 2 nuts or bolts hold it down remove replace gasket also ,, clean gasket surface 1st,,

I doubt you can find a user manual online, to download so your best bet is to try and buy one from Ebay.com, Amazon.com or Craiglist.com

go to your local chevy dealer and talk to them see if they cant give you a diagram for the car or you can buy a chiltons book at any auto parts store for about 20,00
