"I bypassed the immobilizer circuit only on my alarm module (which is really tedious). Bypassing the whole
module is possible (and little easier), but you will lose the use of the remotes and the ability to arm the alarm.
The alarm module in my '97 900 SETC is located under the carpet, below the driver's power seat switches (a
pain to get at).
If you want to bypass the module completely:
1. Disconnect the battery (make sure you know the radio code-if needed)
2. Unplug the connector from alarm module and remove module from car
3. Install a wire jumper between pin 8 and pin 20 in the connector
4. Install a wire jumper between pin 9 and pin 21 in the connector
5. Install a wire jumper between pin 10 and pin 22 in the connector
6. Wrap securely with electrical tape
If you want to bypass the immobilizer circuit only:
1. Disconnect the battery (make sure you know the radio code-if needed)
2. Unplug the connector from the alarm module
3. Cut the following wires from the back of the connector and splice together as follows (Don't cut the wires too
close to the connector, because someday down the road you may want install a new module, so you'll have to
reverse this process):
4. Cut the wires to pin 8 and pin 20 and splice together w/ wire nut
5. Cut the wires to pin 9 and pin 21 and splice together w/ wire nut
6. Cut the wires to pin 10 and pin 22 and splice together w/ wire nut
7. Secure all with electrical tape
8. Reconnect the connector to the module
Not knowing the details of your problem, please be aware that this may, or may not, solve it. Good luck and let
me know how you make out."

My batterie went dead. now the alarm goes off when i try and start it . How do i dissable it?

You will have to locate the alarm box. It is put in different places (mostly under dash on drivers side) depending on who does the install. Once you find it, there should be a red wire leading from it to a power source. Somewhere along this red wire there will be a fuse. Remove it. The alarm should be dead now...

How to replace blower motor on a 1997 saab 900 se. I need a diagram of where it is located....thanks

The blower motor is located behind the firewall in the engine compartment. You can access it by removing the plastic cover above the firewall beneath the windshield.Remove the screws securing the firewall. You now have access to the blower motor but it has to be separated from the evaporator housing. The complete list of instruction are too many to list here.Go to the website SAABNET and do a search on the bulletin board New Generation 900 section and post your question. You can print the instructions out.

How to turn off the alarm because its goes on for any reason

Hello , most car alarms have a brain box located under the dash plugged in between your fuse box or ECU and the main large wire harness under the dash above the steering shaft. You can unlpug and remove this brain and attach the original ends from the car back together. You will no longer have an alarm , but this will stop it from always going off as it will not be in the car.

How to relace clutch cable on 1995 saab se 900 turboon saab 900se

1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the clutch cable end from the clutch arm end at the wire stop.
3. Slide out the rubber doughnut from the gearbox housing which holds the clutch cable
4. Move the distribution box nut and the alarm pin attached to it (some modules)
5. Disconnect the clutch cable holder from the fender and the data link holder.
6. Remove the drivers lower panel below the steering wheel and remove the air duct as well as the knee shield.
7. Slide out the fuse box holder and ICE Box (should be a black box with many wires going to it). You can remove the instrument cluster at this point but you can also do this without removing the cluster with a little patience
8. Move the pedal spring to one side and remove the eye catch for the cable.
9. Remove the clutch cable by pulling it out from the engine compartment
10. Reinstall in the reverse. Saab actually came out with a bulletin which Needed one to install two washers at the back of the new cable instead of one. The factory cable comes with one but you can remove the 2nd washer off the old cable and install it on the new cable so two exist. This helps take up excessive pedal slack.
