This is an ignition error. that could one of several things wrong. since it is noted in Bank 1 it is a problem with the right side of the engine Cylinders 1, 3 or 5. located under the intake manifold (close to the firewall)
Other causes:
1. Fouled plug (cylinders 1, 3 or 5)
2. Bad ignition Coil (cylinders 1, 3 or 5)
3. Wire fault to Coils (cylinders 1, 3 or 5)
4. Fault with the O2 sensors (Right side bank 1)

1. Start by checking /changing the plugs. You have to remove the intake manifold to get to plugs (cylinders 1, 3 or 5). if the mileage is high and they have not been changed, then its probably due.
2. Inspect the coil wires for cracks or faults.
3. Swapping the coils cylinders 2, 4 & 6 for cylinders 1, 3 & 5. if the fault changes to bank 2 then you have a bad coil on 2, 4 or 6.

Hello my 2005 S-Type Jaguar is throwing up codes can you tell me what they are... and possibly what they mean *P0306 *P1314 *P1316 *P1317 *P1647 *P1000 Thank You

You need to get your vehicle to a good mechanic as this could be almost anything! One of the cylinders isn't firing correctly. This could be a fuel, an air or a spark issue. It will need further investigation. It also suggests there might be a problem with one of the O2 sensors on the exhaust system. I was unable to find a listing for P1317.
P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected.
P1000 = OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete.
P1314 = Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 2.
P1316 = Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions.
P1317 = (no code found).
P1647 = Linear O2 Sensor Control Chip (Bank 2).

Check engine light is on. Does replacing the oil filter fix the problem? The codes are: P171, P174

very Unlikely this will have any affect. sounds more like an air leak to me.
You will find all codes available at http://www.bluejag.co.uk/decode.php

Fault Code:- P0171 Indicates a Power-train fault

The fault is generally due to a problem in the Emission Management (Fuel or Air) area

Fault Description: Bank 1 combustion too lean

Action of ECM:- ECM Default:- Bank 1 catalyst warm-up ignition ****** inhibited- Bank 1 closed loop fuel metering inhibited- Canister purge inhibited- Maximum engine speed reduced

After clearing the DTC, complete the Start engine and bring to normal operating temperature> 82 °C (180 °F) Idle for 10 minutes
Check for a reoccurrence of fault DTC.

Possible Fault:- Engine misfire Air intake leak between MAF Sensor and throttle Fuel filter / system restriction Fuel injector restriction Low fuel pump output HO2 Sensor(s) (1/1, 1/2) harness wiring condition fault Exhaust leak (before catalyst) ECM receiving incorrect signal from one or more of the following components: ECT Sensor, MAF Sensor, IAT Sensor, TP Sensor
Fault Code:- P0174 Indicates a Power-train fault

The fault is generally due to a problem in the Emission Management (Fuel or Air) area

Fault Description: Bank 2 combustion too lean

Action of ECM:- ECM Default:- Bank 2 catalyst warm-up ignition ****** inhibited- Bank 2 closed loop fuel metering inhibited- Canister purge inhibited- Maximum engine speed reduced

Possible Fault:- Engine misfire Air intake leak between MAF Sensor and throttle Fuel filter / system restriction Fuel injector restriction Low fuel pump output HO2 Sensor(s) (2/1, 2/2) harness wiring condition fault Exhaust leak (before catalyst) ECM receiving incorrect signal from one or more of the following components: ECT Sensor, MAF Sensor, IAT Sensor, TP Sensor

Code p1313 p1316 p1111 p0301 means what?

Odd one this to have P1111 as well.

According to my data P1111 is all dtc checks compleated, http://www.bluejag.co.uk however some websites show it as a Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage, I'm fairly sure that the latter is incorrect.

check the basics first plugs, leads, corroded ground connections etc then its a bit of a guessing game

As for the other codes

P0301 = Misfire detected - cylinder 1
P1313 = Misfire rate catalyst damage - bank 1
P1316 = Misfire excess emission

Possible causes (as per JTIS):

Cylinder compression low
Worn camshaft / broken valve spring(s)
Fuel delivery pressure (low / high)
Fuel injector(s) restricted / leaking
Fuel injector(s) continuously open
Fuel contamination
Fuel injector circuit fault(s)
(Injector DTCs also flagged)
Spark plug failure / fouled / incorrect gap
ECM to ignition coil primary circuit fault
(Cylinder misfire detected DTC also
flagged)
Ignition coil failure

hope this helps

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say your catalytic convertor is damaged. Do not drive this car. A damaged convertor can ruin your engine or catch on fire.

Misfire

Well, the P in the code means powertrain.  As far as the code specifics,
P1313 Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 1
P1316 Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions

I would say check your spark plugs and wires.
