Hi, your axles on the metro are actually called half shafts, any larger name parts house can order them for you. Call them with the Make, Year, and Model and they will take care of you. you will need to tell them, drivers side or passengers side. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: 96 chevy blazer rear axle bearing/seal r/r

No. Did you run some emery cloth along the race (bearing surface) to make sure it was smooth and clean? If you leave any part of the old seal or debris on the hub surface, damage the seal when installing it, not liberally packing the bearing with grease or the seal did not seat right you can have issues like yours. Make sure the seal is installed flush and if everything looked good as far as the axle and surfaces, pack more grease in the bearing. When you think there is enough grease in it, put more in. Put the grease in the palm of your hand and with the bearing held flat in the other hand repeatedly tap the bearing on your palm until grease comes out both sides. Then put more on it when you seat it.

What does the cv axle seal on 2000 chevy blazer

Four posts? Really? Buy a cheap shop manual, as the procedure has some hazards and is too involved for someone to spell it all out here.

Can you remove the driver side cv axle from a 2005 Chevy asteo van AWD permenanlry

The CV axle stub (end with the axle nut on it) supports the wheel bearing, removing the axle then driving on it would cause the bearing to wear prematurely. I would not recommend this. The front differential is also sealed by the cv assembly, removing it would cause the diff fluid to leak out . CV shafts for this van run $50-80. I would replace if it is bad, instead.

reason u replaced the cv the first time ?? problem could be the hub has play or trans/engine mount went bad causing the motor and trans unit to flex under acceleration and braking-- check ur axle lengths by measuring old original to the new ones before swapping out again

My front differential is leaking!

I cannot see it, but I am guessing that you need to replace your axle seal. To do this, you have to pull your CV shaft out. Remove the tire, remove the caliper from the top of the rotor. Using a hammer on the back, remove the rotor. Take off the spindle (axle) nut, separate the axle (CV shaft) from the hub. Replace seal. It should pop right out. Good luck!
