2019 Mitsubishi outlander sport crankshaft position sensor location

do have to? there is never any answer to that, nu-diagosed.

no engine told. at all. just 4 banger
no VIN told and 8th digit is engine code.! post VIN .
crank sensor can be in 3+ places, front crank ,mid crank and rear.
yes some car with crank sensor behind fly wheel the tone slots are cut into the flywheel or the (flex plate) so yah tricky on some engines. (just so you know ropes)

if you google correct engine name + crank shaft.

you will see the tone wheel on the crank and bingo location
or read the service manual to learn this fast.

Is a toyota corolla ce 2000 equipped with an interference or non interference engine

identified as free wheeling engine ( non interference )
Good practice dictates that the compression is checked as the description does not preclude valve damage

Is my 97 corrolla 1.8liter an interference engine. The timing belt jumpep and I need to know if the valves will be bent

most modern engines are interference designed. keeps the engine profile smaller for fitment in the engine bay. I have successfully straightened valves on a 2.7 V6 honda engine that snapped the cambelt. Just revved the heck out of it once the new belt was on. All ok afterwards. Did you shut down as soon as the belt jumped the cog ?

List interference engines

if it has a chain it is not recorded as an interference fit engine . IF it has a belt then it is an interference engine

Interference engine

the engine has been identified as a "free wheeling" engine in which the possibility of valve - to piston damage in the event of timing belt breakage may be minimal or very unlikely. However , a precautionary compression check of all cylinders should be performed. So -- no it is not an interference engine.

Blew the timing belt, is it fixable? would it have hurt the valves?

The 1.6 liter and 1.8 liter - 4 cylinder engines in a 1994 Toyota Corolla are :

non - interference engines ( according to the Gates website , they make timing belts

etc. )

Non -Interference means your valves would not have hit the pistons so no damage should have been done to your engine.

My Toyota Corolla has about 130 K showing, all original belts, the serpentine looks fine with no sign of checking on the under side. The timing belt,?? How many miles will they last, and does this engine...

Your 2003 corolla has a timming chain with no maintenance interval.
It is a good idea to replace your serpentene belt if it has not been replaced. Your motor is an interferance motor.

Interferance engine/parts sources

This engine is not an interference fit engine. The timing belt can break and not cause damage to the motor. However you never know where or when it will break and the car will not move. I believe Toyota recommends changing it every 60K.

You can probably get most of your parts online easier than at local parts stores.
