I was asking about the pushrods because I had this problem with one of these engines that had a bent push-rod. I robbed a push-rod out of an older 3100 and it was just a fraction of an inch longer which bottomed out the lifter. I figured it out by removing the valve cover and loosing the rockers when it was running and it smoothed out. I'm guessing you checked for vacuum leaks already. How about injection pulse on the number 6 cylinder when running. Another thing you could check is running compression. You said you checked compression but did you just check cranking compression or did you check running compression too.

Rough idle random cylinder misfire

misfires are more from problem injectors, low fuel pressure or injector wiring than from plugs
have a fuel pressure test done to check for problem pressure regulator , problem fuel pump , blocked m/dirty filter
one other area of concern is the EVAP system where the purge valve doesn't vent the tank properly and causes low fuel flow rates

1999 grand prix gt 3.8v 6 error codes 300 and 302

The PO300 code is random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. Sinsc you have the code PO302, that means that cylinder 2 is the one misfiring, usually a bad coil pack, or spark plug.

99 jeep grand cherokee code P302

That's a misfire on cylinder 2. Most likely problem is a bad spark plug or wire. I'd start by clearing the code though and see if it comes back. A random misfire can happen once and never come back. If it does, change the plug (do all of them), and you'll likely be fine.
