1998 Buick Regal GS

Originally I had cool on the drivers side and heat on the passenger side. I changed the drivers side actuator, good distribution for air conditioning, but I have no heat.

SOURCE: 1996 buick regal blows hot air on passenger sice when ac on

The controls are controlled by a vacum box under the dash on the passenger side. It is possible one of the lines came off or one is cracked. If this is not the problem then try switch in back and forth a few times so see if it can get the flap unstuck, if not you will probably have to tear the air duct apart and get it moving.

It needs to be recharged, the compressors are the likely leak on these.

SOURCE: 1998 buick regal gs heat blows hot on passenger

Same problem on my 98 Regal GS; remove glove box, locate the blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually turn the blend door shaft it was attached to. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed. About 30-40 dollars.

Passenger side only blowing cold air.

You need to replace the "blend" door actuator motor on the pass side. I recommend getting that from your nearest gm dealer to ensure proper fit. When you adjust the air from cold to warm to hot, the blend door moves to direct the right amount of cold, or warm, or hot air your desire on that side of the vehicle

Automobile air conditioning on max cool, blows hot air on passenger side tried dual climate control settings still cold on driver hot on passenger

I had the same problem when i was working on my 1999 Buick Regal and had to disconnect the battery. I didn't reconnect in the same way that I disconnected the battery from the terminal and noticed that the driver side had no heat or air but the passenger side did. I then disconnected the battery again and reconnected it the same way and now have heat and air on both the driver and passenger side. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

2001 buick century driver side heat/cool problems

Sounds like a problem with the "Drivers side temp actuator motor".
Each side has a motor that controlls the temp. door inside the dash for the driver or passenger side. These motors are approx. $75, plus 1 hr. labor to install. See more info here...
