I believe your clutch is hydraulic on your Prelude, at least my 91 Prelude is, which means you have a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. Are you sure it's cable operated?

Car goes into gear perfect but nothing happens when you let clutch out

if it is hydraulic clutch , replace the clutch master cylinder
if it is cable clutch , replace the clutch cable
both are stopping the clutch pressure plate from engaging the clutch plate

if cable , by adjusting one end of the outer cable
if hydraulic you don't

it could have leaking slave cylinder on gear box bell housing or your clutch needs replacing, gear box out and replace clutch as a kit, pressure plate, clutch plate, thrust bearing (comes as kit) but dont forget to check and or replace the spigot bearing in the rear of the crank shaft when doing clutch kit.

Hi my Suzuki wagon r+ had a clutch replacement last year and the clutch pedal is a little stiff. However i must stress all gears are usable with no noises coming from the box. I have a cable clutch and not...

When you replace the clutch it would have been a good idea to replace the clutch cable as well. The inner cable wears a groove in the outer case and this is now binding and making the pedal movement heavy. What you cannot push in easily ,the clutch cannot push back easily so there is a possibility of increased wear on the throw out bearing or slipping clutch. Replace it as soon as possible.

Stuck clutch

does this one still uses cable or hydrovac already?
if still on cable, then you will need to remove your transmission and loosen your gearbox.
if on hydrovac, replace clutch master/slave first.

Broken clitch cable on 2000 chevy impala...how do u replace it..the wires are broken

see this steps and fix it. God bless you
Clutch Cable Replacement The clutch cable provides a means to "break the drive" between the engine and the wheels. The engine spins constantly, but the wheels do not, so in order to stop a car's wheels without turning off the engine, the wheels have to disconnect from the engine. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the cable disengages the plates, allowing the driver to shift gears or coast without killing the engine.
A failing clutch cable may make the clutch pedal difficult to depress. If the clutch cable fails, the clutch pedal may remain on the floor and not return to its normal position.
To replace the clutch cable, disconnect it from the clutch pedal (usually inside the vehicle) and from the release mechanism or cable attachment that operates the clutch assembly (usually at the transmission beneath the vehicle). A new clutch cable is then installed and adjusted. (The specifics vary according to the vehicle and range from straightforward to very difficult.)

Scenic dificult to change gears would it be clutch cable sretched or would it need replaceing

i doubt it will be the clutch cable but either the clutch is worn or what is more likely is the clutch cable adjuster, the clutch cable adjuster can be found where your clutch pedal is, it is prudent to replace the cable and adjuster at the same time,
