still could have a fault in crank sensor wiring ,,, you need to plug in diagnostic tool when it wont start and see if you have a engine revs reading ,,, also check if fuel is getting to the engine ,,,, that car also has immobiliser so try spare key to see if problem goes away ,,,,,, wont get codes on that age group unless problem happens when driveing
No. Turbo charged engines have been designed to have the turbo. The turbo uses exhaust gas to spin a dual air compressor to push additional air into the intake, without it the car probably won't even run. There are numerous electronics monitoring pressures and temperatures. Sorry turbo has to be fixed for car to run properly.
Take it back to the Dealer........Their Problem not yours. It is possible that a plug was removed during the service and at some stage the ignition was switched on before the plug was reconnected , this would cause a check light and the computer would store this until the light was reset. Hope this helps.
Almost for sure the head gasket. You don't have to replace the engine, but pull the head, have it leveled, get a new gasket and head bolts and replace.
This can be done without removing the engine, but it is a bit tricky. Very tight getting the head off to the front. If you have done some mechanics, can be done. I have done this once. It did take a bit.
Please let me know if you still have the car and we can talk.
Could be a few other issues, but these are very rare. Cracked head, etc...
