2003 ford explorer windows stopped working

Are ALL your windows disabled? Nothing works?
Okay,I don't have an Explorer manual, but check for a large fuse out in the engine compartment that might say it's for door locks.
The reference for the fuse location is usuall in the cover of the fusebox.
Relays (little squarish boxes in the same fusebox) can also go bad,or shake loose.
I HOPE the problem is not the control module.don-ohio (:^)

You wouldn't have a blown fuse if you can hear the relay

Have you not checked the fuses before asking a question?

Relays don't fail a lot & you hear what may be a relay,
although maybe not for the window circuit.

How would someone one the internet know what your
problem was, without at least being next to your truck?

I would say you have a bad switch,as that is what is used
the most. If not then the motor or a jammed window regulator.

Where is the fuel pump relay switch on a 2001 ford windstar?

1999-2003 ModelsEngine Compartment fusebox - fuse #5, and relay #207

NOTE: You really need to have a diagram in front of you when looking for these specific fuse/relay locations. The Owners Manual is a good resource.
Autozone's free online Repair Guide is another source of fusebox information and illustrations.

1995 aurora is running hot..niether fans are coming on..were is the fan relay switch and the temp. fan control switch??

Look in the fusebox, there should be a diagram. One of the big relays will be the fan, if you have the manual, check for that, if not, there MAY be a circuit diagram on the fusebox cover.

hi, there is a relay for the windows. in the fusebox (s) there should be a relay for each window. these relays do fail (open circuit on switch side). the feed POWER side may be shorted. these circuits are hard to find the fault, but check all the door relays. the motor can stick and put heavy current to blow the fuse, if you leave the engine OFF and put the ignition ON press the other window and listen for this relay noise. a click can be heard to pinpoint the location of other relays. once you find these switch relays to determin if these are working and use this to put the rear window back up. gerry
