Dies in summer months but not in the winter
Without analyzing the engine using a few gauges, I'd consider that you have a catalytic converter problem. One that is almost completely blocked but open enough to allow operation. NOTE: A really restricted muffler can also cause problems after years of rust collects inside as it can restrict the flow too much, causing the engine to overheat.
Some converters tend to plug when extremely hot, then breath again when slightly cooled. Some don't show up as problems except under load at low speeds when the fuel mixture is extremely rich. A poorly tuned engine can cause converter problems, as can age and high mileage.
A quick test, is to start the vehicle (cold) and then note the temperature of the exhaust before and after the converter, you can touch it for a few minutes then it gets real hot, so be careful. There are laser thermometers that let you measure the temp without personal contact, available at various parts stores. This will allow you to see if the heat is transferring through the converter as the exhaust goes through.
If this doesn't help, you'll need to get some gauges hooked up to compare readings before the problem presents itself vs the readings once the problem is present.
Good luck:)
Clean the mass air flow sensor, when you look under hood follow the hose coming off the air box, over and you will see a medal clamp that you loosen up and take the hose off and there is a metal screen inside. at any parts store you can buy a can of "mass air flow cleaner" its a spray you just spray the screen and reassemble it back together and start the car. this should stop the vehicle shutting down on you. there is a sensor that over time gets carbon build up on it that will cause the problem your describing.

700 is transmission control system malfunction. For now I'd concentrate on 108 which is M.A.P. sensor . Likely needs to be replaced but try cleaning connection at it first. Possibility that the transmission code, is an old one, or it's been tripped somehow by other problem, so unless it's experiencing shifting problems, I wouldn't get too worried about it right now. Once you've cleaned, or replaced MAP sensor, disconnect battery for a minute or so, re-attach, & try it and see how it works. Keep me posted.

Fuel system..Filter or pump..maybe clogged
Try fuel line cleaner..make sure the tank is 3/4 full.
