get a local mechanic to have a look ,sounds like a big fat northerner has owned this car and squashed the elements in the seat.replace the rear electric motor in the door for the window .and radio code should be in the cars books if not you will have to remove and post chassis number of radio and make so this poofty southerner can generate a code for you

SOURCE: My heated seat doesn't work on the front driver

You will have to check for power to the seat on teh wiring connections under the seat ,if you have power coming to the seat then you will have to remove the seat and take it to a specialist repairer who can change the heating element for you as it will involve stripping all the covers off off the seat to gain access to the heating element

2006 cadillac srx Heat doesnt get hot on drivers side. Is this controllled by a fuse?

There is an electric motor that controls the blend door. You probably have an issue at the blend door. Either the motor is bad, or the actuator isn't connected. The actuator arms are know to crack and allow the motor to move without moving the actuator.

Porche cayene 2006 side passenger heat doesn't work

Hi,
Many seat heaters are either controlled by a fuse, switch and/ or relay. You may need to check whichever of those you may have the skill to do. If the LIGHT on the heater switch is working you can probably rule out those 3. Likely the 'heater elements' (usually thin wires than run under the seat's cover that heat up when voltage is applied, which then heats the seat) have a crack in them somewhere, which needs reconnected.

Also, does the power control work on the passenger seat? If not, it may share a circuit/fuse w/the heater switch.

Trying to find which fuse is for the heated seats on a 2004 ford explorer sports trak

Heated Seats
This system allows the electrical heating of the front seats on passenger demand.
The components of the system are:
  • the seat heating elements located in the seat cushion and backrest.
  • the heated seat control switch, located on the seat side trim panel.
  • temperature sensors located in the seat cushion heating elements.
  • heated seat relay.
Do both front seat heaters not work ? Do you know how to test electrical circuits with voltmeter ?
PINPOINT TEST J: THE HEATED SEAT IS INOPERATIVE Test Step Result / Action to Take J1 CHECK HEATED SEAT SWITCH OPERATION
  • Key in ON position.
  • Press the heated seat switch on the driver and passenger seats.
  • Are both heated seat switch indicators illuminated?
Yes
If both indicators illuminate, Go To Pinpoint Test K . If only one indicator illuminates, GO to J5 .

No
GO to J2 . J2 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT RELAY CIRCUITS
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: Heated Seat Relay C3250 (located under the driver seat).
  • Key in ON position.
  • Measure the voltage at heated seat relay C3250-86, circuit 1003 (GY/YE), harness side and ground; and between C3250-30, circuit 566 (DG), harness and ground.
    s5r~tr~en~file=a0078817.gif~gen~ref.gif
  • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to J3 .

No
REPAIR inoperative 1003 (GY/YE) or 566 (DG) circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. J3 CHECK HEATED SEAT RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Measure the resistance between heated seat relay C3250-85, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.
    s5r~tr~en~file=a0078818.gif~gen~ref.gif
  • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to J4 .

No
REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation. J4 CHECK THE HEATED SEAT RELAY
  • Install a fused jumper lead between heated seat relay 3250-30, circuit 566 (DG), harness side and heated seat relay C3250-87, circuit 1064 (YE/LB), harness side.
    s5r~tr~en~file=a0078819.gif~gen~ref.gif
  • Do both heated seat indicators illuminate when pressed?
Yes
INSTALL a new heated seat relay. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
REPAIR circuit 1064 (YE/LB) to switches. TEST the system for normal operation. J5 CHECK INOPERATIVE HEATED SEAT SWITCH INPUT
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: Heated Seat Switch C320 (Driver) or C321 (Passenger) for the inoperative heated seat.
  • Key in ON position.
  • Measure the voltage between heated seat switch C320-2 (driver) or C321-2 (passenger), circuit 1064 (YE/LB), harness side and ground .
    s5r~tr~en~file=a0078820.gif~gen~ref.gif
  • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to J6 .

No
REPAIR circuit 1064 (YE/LB). TEST system for normal operation. J6 CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK) FOR AN OPEN
  • Measure the resistance between heated seat switch C320-4 (driver) or C321-4 (passenger), circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.
    s5r~tr~en~file=a0078821.gif~gen~ref.gif
  • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new heated seat switch. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation It's not that simple , being a fuse . It's probably the relay or the heating element .
PINPOINT TEST K: SEAT DOES NOT HEAT BUT THE HEATED SEAT INDICATOR ILLUMINATES WHEN PRESSED ? Does it ?

How do you reset the relay switch for seat on the driver side of 2006 chevy hhr

There is no 'reset'. There are fuses you can check. See your owner's manual to read through the fuse listing. Also be sure your wiring didn't become unplugged under your seat, as if something was lodged under the seat pulling on the wiring.

I have a 2004 Pacifica and both front power seats stopped working, heat and all ability to move. what might be the problem.? Also the electric foot peddles dont work

  1. If any power seat is not operational in any direction, check the power seat circuit breaker, located in the Integrated Power Module.Black box above battery Obtain a DRB III(R) scan tool and check for any stored diagnostic trouble codes recorded in the memory heated seat adjustable pedal module. Follow the procedures called out in the proper diagnostic procedures to resolve if codes are presentModule could be bad if not circuit braker

Heated seats dont work

Its hard to say without looking at it in person. sounds like you have a electrical short in the wiring systems or blown fuse bad switch. The heating element in the seat could also be burnt out and need replacing. best thing to do is locate the wiring system underneath the seat and test the current if any going into the seat heating element. if you do get voltage/current following, then the seat element is bad.

Heated Drivers Seat Ford 500 2006 will not work.

It is usually one of two problems. Either the relay under the seat has failed or the heat element in the seat has failed.

If you are not electrically challenged, you can use a simple volt-ohm meter and check for continuity in the heat element. If you have continuity, the element is good, otherwise that's your problem.

If the heat element is good, you may want to take the good relay from under the passenger seat and put it on the driver's side to see if that fixes it. If so, then you have to get a new relay.

Last, but very unlikely, would be a bad switch.

Heated and cooled seats quit working. won't work on either driver's or passanger's seats. checked the fuses and relays and they are all ok. what's wrong?

Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.

Heater seats dont work but light comes on.

Ok it is obvious since the light is coming on you are getting power to the switch. It could be a heated seat relay. Im fairly sure jeeps use a relay after the switch that is where I would start. Check and see if the Heated seat relay, and fuse are good
