It sounds like there is a faulty sensor, as your trunk is not opening without the key I would suggest its your trunk/boot sensor. As a safety feature the cars roof will not move if the trunk/boot is open.
DO YOUR REAR SEAT LAY DOWN? IF SO YOU CAN GET IN THE TRUNK AND EMPTY IT OUT AND USE A LIGHT TO SEE IF SOMETHING IS CAUGHT IN THE LATCH...NOT SURE IF YOURS IS NEW ENOUGH TO HAVE A RELEASE INSIDE THE TRUNK BUT MAY HELP YOU OPEN IT
it gets power from the CHIME fuse in the instrument panel junction/fuse block. It should have power on the orange wire. The black and light green wires are the grounds.
