SOURCE: Need wiring diagram/chart for 1994 940

if you have no brake lights at all first check voltage in and out of brake light switch above pedel (not the one with vac line) if thats ok then pull the large red round bulb out senser behind the fuse panel and look for the bad solder connection inside it or just replace it/as for the od i think what you are saying is it gets stuck out of od and the engine revs high? the most commen problem is the od relay that is also behind the fuse panel (white ,tall, left side and square) but the best fix is to bypass it all on the trans with a kit from IPD.

the color of the plastic plug does not matter... You will have two injector plugs with white/red and yellow wires - those two go to cyl#'s 1 and 3.
the other two plugs will have white and blur wires.. those two plugs go to injectors # 2 and 4.

Negative voltage at tail lights

Thanks Syntax Error for letting us know you figured out the wiring harness was wired incorrectly. It is always a good idea to look up the color wiring standard for the socket and to check the pin positions and what functions .
Sometimes trailers can be wired incorrectly also ?
I wired the licence plate bulb to my brown wire by mistake and this is the brake wire . Took a while for me to figure that one out !
