check to see if u have a faulty speed sensor if the transmission does not get a speed input it will not shift

I think the part is called the blend door actuator.
1.You have to remove the plastic cover on passenger side. Motor is located over the transmission hump.
2. Remove wiring harness plug.
3. Remove 3 hex head screws.
You need a small 1/4 socket set.

Slow acceleration on my used 2008 Silverado. Having to push hard on the accelerator before I can get to cruising speed. Not sure if this is due to the limits of the 4 speed automatic or what. Please help

WELL I WOULD SAY FUEL FILTER BUT IT IS IN FUEL TANK IT IS PART OF THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY.CHECK THE APP SENSOR LOCATED ON TOP OF ACCELERATOR PEDAL.MAKE SURE PEDAL IS TIGHT AND MAKE SURE THE WIRE GOING TO APP SENSOR INTACT NOT LOOSE OR DAMAGED.IF ALL IS GOOD HAVE TRUCK SCANNED FOR ANY APP SENSOR CODES.CHECK TRANSMISSION FUSE ALSO.

could be just a shift solinoid ,a tranny shop can scan it and replace it.

2008 Silverado 10,000 miles. 2wd has squeak

it may be the fan belt. The belt may need tightend or need a new one.
