Make sure parking brakes off.if you cant get brake drum off.get a hammer and chisel.go to back of backing plate look for a access plug.take hammer and chisel knock it out.once the access plug removed .pull the lever off adjusting star wheel with a hook tool .while turning the star wheel with a small screw driver or brake adjuster tool .
Brake drums have a tendency to seize onto the hub.As long as the drums will spin freely, a few firm hits with a hammer will shake the rust loose on the hub and allow you to slide them off. If they begin to slide off but will not completely remove, the shoes may need to be adjusted in to clear the lip on the drum. Remove the small rubber plug on the back side and use a flat screw driver to turn the adjuster just inside. IIf you go the wrong direction the shoes will get tighter on the drum, so you'll know to go the other direction.
Block front wheels jack up rear wheels make sure parking brake is off and that the wheel spins freely and waxk it with a big hammer
really just hit the drum top bottom and sides till the rust breaks away
if it breaks away and moves and still wont come off you might need to loosen the adjuster from the slotted hole on the back side
