is there a rheostat switch that dims the dash illumination ,these are usually a wheel type switch , other than that have a check of the fuse for the dash illumination hope this helps
Check to make sure you dimmer switch is working properly... Also if you have DRL (daytime running lights), that would explain the on when not supposed to be condition.
1998 honda accord v6 fully loaded 191 k on it and my dash lights stop working and the lights where my ac control as well stoped too ,, i turn on the head lights an there no lights in the dash nor the ac contrlos what is it
What year is this vehicle? It might have an ambient light sensor that has failed if it's 90's+,but older it's most likely the dimmer switch. If it's early 80's you should be able to replace it w/o having to removed the dash,just small panel cover nearby.
