My 2000 Deville DTS has a few lights on the dash there is a few system warnings comming up it says service stability and suspension systems, and speed limited to 145kms. if i try to go faster than 145kms the car stops sending fuel to the engine when the car gets to 145kms. the car s sitting low as the compressor, the struts are leaking.?? but dont believe the car is worth spending thousands to fix the systems as it is my winter car and has 286000 kms on it how can i get rid of the speed limited to 145kms and get a cheaper solution for the suspension and stability systems. also the abs, traction control and parking brake light come on and off sometimes, or just stay on sometimes. it is my daily driver and my winter beater just bought a new summer car which happens to be the exact car but pearl white but like new. i love this car and want to keep her as my winter car .
Whenever this warning or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)
