After starting the car when running on idle its steady but when you try to accelerate then it will not raise(increase acceleration) and it will be shooting, I have replaced the electric caburator but still same what else can I check, could it be brain box.

Sounds like fuel starvation. Would suggest cleaning any filters in the fuel line or replacing.
Also check the stop idle valve. This should be inline in the air intake pipe to the intake manifold..
Remove it and clean with WD40.Make sure you note the orientation of the spring.
To reset the ECU disconnect the battery for 5 minute the reconnect. The ECU should reset to factory settings. Make sure you know radio and alarm codes!
Try petrol additive STP or Redex to clean inside the engine.
Thats as far as my knowledge goes, hope it helps.

Best way is to get the fault codes read using a £15 interface cable and VAG-com software (£free) on a laptop computer. It will save you money. In the meantime, have you removed and examined the spark plugs?
Hope this helps you a bit. If it does, a "Fixya" rating would be much appreciated. If it doesn't
help you, I'd be grateful if you didn't bother with a rating at present - they can't be increased later if I do manage to solve your problem! Just come back and tell me what you found. Cheers, D

Just trowing some suggestions out there, but, I would check the idle air control valve (solenoid) or the throttle position sensor. If they check out then my last guess would be the map sensor or the vaccuum to the map sensor. Hope I was able to help. Best wishes.
SOURCE: car stalls pressing accelerator do not increase
is it fly by wire or does it have a throttle cable ,if fly by wire change the sensors on the pedal

First thing I'd check is fuel pressure. 55psi
