Remove the plastic steering column calm shell covers (screws on underside of the covers) and the switch is easily accessed for removal from that point.

Remove radiator grille. 2. Remove screws on each side of bottom of fascia that attach fascia to bottom of fender protector. Partially
remove fender protector.
3. Remove engine underside covers.
4. Remove engine front undercover.

remove screws - they is probably one around the door handle (carefully pry out cover piece) - and underneath any big round (1 inch diameter) plastic screw hole cover - then carefully pry off.

there is usually 2 - 3 screws hiden right behind the mirror on inside of door pop the plastic cap off and undue the screws with a 10 mm soccet

The best way is to use a scan tool to clear the codes, that will turn off the light, also disconnecting the battery over night may work, but no completely sure about that, it varies from year to year.

There is a plastic cover on the lens that covers the screws that hold the lamp on to the body. CAREFULLY pry the cover off to access screws, remove the screws and CAREFULLY pry the lens off. Replace bulb(s) reinstall after checking to see if bulbs are in fact working.
