I HAVE ONE SMALL HOSE THAT HAS COME LOOSE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR AXLE AND I CANT FIND WHERE ITS GOES. THE LITTLE RUBBER CLAMP IS STILL ON IT. KNOW I DEA WHERE IS GOES OR WHAT IT IS?

That\'s just a pressure vent line and you\'ll find the nipple to put it on at the top of the differential housing. The other end is high to keep water out of the rear.

If you don't see any line that should be attached to that port just plug it with a vacuum cap. The cap usually pops off when cranking the engine and the engine starts and stalls resulting in a backfire in the intake. If you don't have a vacuum cap, plug a piece of vacuum hose with a screw and put the other end of the hose to the open vacuum port.

That is for your PCV valve...you can remove it, and take it to any parts store and they should have it...But if not the dealer should...It's a common problem on those cars...It might be called PCV valve inlet tube...

This is the vent tube for your differential. It allow venting of the diff. while not allowing any water to get in above it's highest point.

It is a vent for the rear end. It would have been attached to a frame cross member. The fastener has probably rusted off. Use a piece of wire or a zip tie and fastn it back up. Hope this helps.

There should be a vent line and they are also on the F150 Series too. On the F150 and probably your F250 series the vent pipe goes through a rear Brake hose as Ford used the vent pipe to mount and secure the rear main Brake hose. The feeder lines go to each rear wheel.

The vent pipe allows the oil to flow through the ends of the axle shafts more easily and to eliminate any pressure from heat in the Differential. The vent hose keeps water from entering the axle by moving the opening higher in the frame. There is a threaded hole on the axle.

If your vehicle was built with larger rims (Fire truck?) there may be a vent button on the axle at that position. It would be a fitting with a small dome button if Ford felt the truck was high enough off the ground that water was not a problem.

Radiator hose keeps coming loose

NO car told at all, maker model and enigine there.
what side does the driver sit, left or right , in USA ,its left.
not told if clamp is stock powerful and good OEM spring loaded clamp
or these cheezy screw drive clamps
sounds to me like 2 causes
1: yes clamp is bad.
2: engine has exhaust gases in the coolant,. (blown head gasket) or worse warped head or cracked head. worse can go more. worse.
a $1 fix or $1500 fix.

why not ask a real shop to check it out.
they can a radiator leak down test in a jiffy, a cheap tool we all have.
knowing what is or having #2 get worse and blow up a $3000 engine
is not wise. find the truth then play the cards.
avoid cascaded failures get it tested by a real shop.
normal pressure is about 14psi, or 1 bar.
the rad cap regulates that and does not blow off hoses with good clamps. but if #2 happens all bets are off.

Need to know if the brake lines going to the back brakes are metal and where they run such as wich side of car

Yes they are steel lines until they make the connection at the end of the axle. Then they change to a high pressure rubber hose to allow for axle movement as the wheels oscillate up and down as the roads surface changes. Just locate the master cylinder on the firewall in the engine compartment on the drivers side. Follow the brake lines down under the vehicle and to the rear axle(s).

When I start the car it runs fine but when i put it into gear it dies and i have to restart the car. Right before this when I applied the brakes the car would jump ahead instead of stopping.

Sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. You need to look closely around the carb/intake area for any disconnected small rubber hoses. Also check a fat rubber hose (1 inch or so) which goes to the big drum looking thing drivers side firewall - part of the brakes power booster system.

Look for hanging loose tubes/hose or worn through by rubbing etc.. Try to replace tubes to closest point where it looks like it goes. May have to cut a small peice off the end if it's stretched out and loose fitting.

It is a vent for the rear end and should fasten to the box or a frame crossmember. Fasten it as high as you can reasonably get it because while it lets air in it can also let water in. Hope this helps.

Rear heater core line leaking, can I fix w/ rubber hose and clamps? The leak is right below drivers side door. There are four lines that run to rear heater core but only one is leaking.

yeah hose and clamps are the cheap easy way to go there, or if your lucky, the leak is right at the spot where the hose meets the metal and you can just cut the end off and put it back with the old clamp

Had a slight transmission leak,went under and noticed where a couple of the hoses connect with an adapter there was a slight crack in the hose,I cut back the hose a little,the hoses do not fit really tight...

No, the remote oil line hose needs to be replaced. There is an easier fix to this other then replacing the remote oil line. Just to make sure were on the same page, the transmission line has no rubber line and is a one piece metal line from the transmission to the radiator on the passenger side. The remote engine oil line is on the drivers side and is rubber and goes to the radiator and remote oil filter housing. That is the hose that is common to leak at the factory compression clamp where the rubber hose connects to the metal line. The factory compression clamp can be cut off and just place the rubber hose or replace the oil line and replace the compression clamp. Make sure it's a compression clamp and not a hose clamp, the compression clamp has a better all round clamping force to the hose and less to fail then the hose clamps. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to answer any questions you may have and NAPA or Auto Zone will have all the parts you need to get the job done.

How do i take my fuel pump out in my bmw 325, i got the rear seat put and the cover on the passenger seat off, i just cant get the pump out

The fuel pump in your 325 is under the rear seat, passenger side. Take the seat out, then pull up the rubber grommet with the wire going through it. Leave the wire alone for now. Peel up the thin rubber insulating mat. It is pre cut by the factory and not glued down. Remove the four nuts (10mm socket) and lift the round plate. Now remove the wire by sliding the plastic plug type housing back and lift the entire plug type housing up. Now, remove the hose clamp and slide the hose back off the plastic tube. If you damage the clamp, buy a new 1/4" clamp at the auto store for .30cents. Now unscrew the steel ring holding the pump in place. Unscrew this ring by tapping the ring with a screw driver and hammer. Remember counterclockwise (off). Now put your finger in the plastic ring molded into the top of the pump and pull up with some force. It is in place with a rubber gasket. Tight, but it will come loose. Be careful not to drop any thing into the tank. On the other side (drivers side) is a float/sensor. When reinstalling, seat the rubber gasket into the hole then drop the new pump/sensor into place. Your tank is like a saddle bag so it has two float/sensors. Time: 25 minutes

Loose hose

It is possibly emmissions related. I wouldn't worry about it unless it comes off again or you notice your truck running differently. If it does pop off again, you may want to buy a .80 hose clamp and just clamp it back on to where it pops off.
