Have u put it in Park and press and hold accelerator to see if it still cuts off. How long of a drive before it cuts off

Sounds like you have a fuel pressure issue. These trucks are bad about bleeding all the fuel pressure off when the engine is shut of but will run fine when started. the only good way to check this is to install a fuel pressure gauge on the shrader valve on the fuel rail. Once you get it isntalled start the engine and let it run for a minute or so,shut the engine off and it should hold pressure,if it bleeds off quickly it means the check valve on the pump is leaking and it will need a fuel pump.

Bolt broken off in power steering pump on 2003 expedition

I recommend drilling a hole down the center off the broken bolt, being very careful to not damage the threads. After you get the hole drilled about a half inch to one inch down the bolt, use a square "bolt-out" broken bolt remover by lightly hammering the remover in place and trying to back out with vice grips or equivalent. You can never use too much penetrating oil throughout this whole process. If there is any of the bolt exposed, you can slice a line into the bolt using a circular cut-off tool and using a large flathead screwdriver to remove.

Security key or ignition faulty sounds like. Does it do it with both keys IF you have 2 of them? don-ohio

2003 Ford Expedition is hard to start. I takes two to four turns of the key to get the engine to fire.

Could be fuel pressure loss.
The fuel pump is supposed to hold pressure when the engine stops.
If it falls to zero, you would have to cycle the fuel pump relay a few times to get it back up to start.
I would check the fuel pressure first.

WhAT MAKES FORD 2003 EXPEDITION SHUT OFF AND SMOKE FROM FUSE PANEL

TUrn off your vehicle; first I suggest check in the fuse panel what fuse is causing this problem, if the fuses ar ok, then you will need to take off the entire fuse panel to check harnesses connections and wires attached there.

Keep in mind that, if you stay driving or testing in a ON condition, cpould damage other components, systems or devices.

WELL I WOULD CHECK CABELS TO SEE IF THERE IS CORSION UNDER PROTECTIVE COAT TAKE KNIFE OR SOMTHIN TO CUT IT BACK A LITTLE IF CROSION IS THERE REPLACE CABELS BUT ONE MORE THING WHEN YOU PARK CAR AND IT WONT START YOU NEED TO SEE HOW MANY VOLTS ARE IN BATTERY IF LOW THE CAR MAY NOT BE GOING TO SLEEP MAKE BATTERY GO LOW OR DEAD SOME TIME THE INTERLIGHT ON

2003 Expedition jerking/cutting out.

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!

PS mine 2003 expedition has 105k

your gonna have to check the basics fuel pressure and spark and go from there. listen for fuel pump when you cut key on
