You may need to go through the menu on the radio/stereo & check if the fader is on just the front speakers, then turn it the other way to bring in the rear speakers, just like left & right balance

I have an 01 audi a4, and i wanted to change the rear speakers. i remove the right one and its simple, two wires, but when i remove the left rear speaker there's 8 wires and was wondering if 2 of the wires...

as long as it is audio out then you cant go wrong. same power from your stereo on you deck you get and will be dividing all the power like sharing each other. parallel connection is the best one . but not much as when you hooked it to an amplifier. auxiliary is different which is another option like adding more components to your car.

99 A6 Subwoofer and Amplifier

I have a similar problem on Audi A6 2.5 tdi year 2000, is just that my subwoofer is working fine, but the rear speakers have no sound and the rear satellites on the same ciruits are working just fine, I cannot explain this! I have taken apart the rear speaker and teasted with an ipod and one is working fine but the other is dead! I don t know if there is any connection, or there is a filter for the rear speakers and if one speaker is dead there will be no sound on the other speaker! but as i said on the same cables satelites are working well!

It started with the rear speakers on my 2001 Audi A6, all of a sudden, making a very loud distorted/cracking sound. Now, rear speakers do not work at all. Any clues as to what has happened and the what is...

try connecting them to a small radio or tape player to see if they still work ?? if they appear to work ok on a small set then i would be inclined to check the colours on the speaker wires then rmove the radio and try connecting another known to be good speaker to the output on the radio and if that works ok then renew the feed wires to rear speakers because thats where your fault would lie for whatever reason like a mouse got in or seat crushed the wires or whatever

Radio wiring problem 2001 Audi A3

Hi, had total issues with this too! Your back speakers arent going because they are amped by the factory amp in the boot. You have to provide power to the amp so that it will turn the rear speakers on. This was a white and black striped wire in my car (Audi A3 1997) The rear speakers are blue /green and brown/red (left rear) , and the LH rear is brown/red and (forgotten colour) but the wire on the bottom left under those two brown/red wires on the 20pin harness. If you wire it all up like this then your rears should be going :)

Rear speakers in audi 1999 audi a4

You don't want to fit that - it's the factory amplifier for the rear speakers (the rears are amped, the fronts are not). You need to run new wires from the head unit back to the new rear speakers so that the speaker-level outputs from the new head unit are used to drive the new speakers.
