1992 isuzu turbo diesel recently rebuild on injection pump, will not cold start without using nulon starting spray

i think you must be check starter ring first,my experience to repair Isuzu truck, the stater ring was release from flywheel, not wonder but its could be happen.Try check first.

I have a 1998 Bighorn 3.0L if the wrong grade of oil is used in the motor it miss fires and runs rough, due to the injectors being oil pressure controlled, I have heard of extreme cases causing a failure to start when cold. good luck

If you got the 3.0 i'd say its the rail oil pressure sensor goin west .
If its the 3.1 check your shut off solenoid on the fuel injection pump as they can fai,l stop the engine then be ok next time you start up .

Drop the gearbox down and out, take off the flywheel and you can see the seal then , prise it out ,cut off the wearing if it has one, tap on the new wear ring ,fit the new seal and replace the gearbox .
You maybe gotta jack up the back of the box to get the top bolts out , depends how handy you are .
