Not difficult at all only has 2 bolts after you get off all the plastic engine cover. thermostat and gasket will run about $10

check fuel rail pressure with a gage from renting from auto shop shold hold 30 PSI for 60 seconds if not replace fuel pump.

The top radiator hose goes into the thermostat housing and then into the motor. The therostat should have two bolts take them off. And theres the thermostat.

1985 VW Jetta Diesel, problem with lights. The

check head lights and tail lights relay.replace fan relay.check ac compressor make sure its getting power. if all good have ac check to make sure it have the right amount refrigerate in system.
