SOURCE: 2002 honda crv air filter change

Hi!

Can you specify if you are referring to the engine intake air filter or the cabin air filter?
If you are referencing the cabin air filter, the attached youtube video should help.

I originally created the video for the Odyssey, but found out after looking at my dad's CRV that it is essentially the same procedure as the Odyssey, and have also noticed that the same stands true for most Honda vehicles built between 2005 and 2009.

Happy motoring!

SOURCE: where is the valet switch for honda accord 2002 lx?

Hi,
Does the vehicle have an aftermarket alarm system? Is the valet switch for this what you are looking for? If so, it depends entirely on who installed it as where they have put it, although it's usually under the dash on the driver’s side. Some alarms have different sequences that you have to go through to put the alarm into valet mode; it's not usually just a switch that you flick. Best to pop into an alarm or stereo installer and see if they can spot it for you, or if the car is immobilized, find out what sort of alarm it is and call an installer for the info on the valet procedure.

Thank You for contacting Fixya.com

OK, you have a code PO341 which means their is a problem with the signal the ECU is receiving from the cam sensor. It does not necessarily mean the sensor is bad. It can be one of these things.
1. Cam sensor wiring routed too close to spark plug wiring (causing interference) 2. Poor wiring connection at cam sensor 3. Poor wiring connection at PCM 4. Bad cam sensor 5. Damaged reluctor wheel You replaced the cam sensor and the problem is still there so we can assume that a defective cam sensor was not the problem. Do this.
1. Check that the wiring isn't routed too close to any secondary ignition components (coil, spark plug wires, etc.) 2. Visually inspect the wiring at the sensor for any burn marks, discoloration indicative of melting or chafing 3. Visually inspect the reluctor wheel through the cam sensor port (if possible) for any missing teeth or any damage 4. If reluctor isn't visible from outside the engine, visual test can only be done by removing cam shaft or intake manifold (depending on engine design)

My 2000 honda crv is overheating there are 2 fans and neither seems to come on

One fan should come on when the A/c is turn on. The other fan Will be the primary radiator cooling fan. This fan is controlled by a coolant temperature switch, a relay and fuse. Once the coolant temp, reaches 186 degs. the fan should come on. So you have to check the fuses for a burnt fuse, then you can check the coolant switch by un-pluging it and making a jump in the wiring with a paper clip and stick it into the connection. That should force the fan on. Hope this helps FixYa up.

Code 1167 - Honda CRV 2002

Check all fuses, then check the wiring of the two 02 sensors on either side of the cat. converter. If the fuses and wiring are fine, it is likely one of the oxygen sensors; one is about $50 and the other is $200 (parts only). Use only Honda recommended parts, not BOSCH.
