How do you remove the socket between the seats in the console to get a plug off a radar detector that broke off in it?
I would try a small pair of needle nose pliers to see if you can get a bite on anything good enough to pull or twist out of the socket. If that don't work I would use a drill motor with a 1/8 hole in the center and install a small sheet metal screw into the hole securely as possible leaving just enough out to get a hold of. You might have to remove the console cover to retrieve it from behind by pushing thru the socket with a pick . Spray the cavity with wd-40 or pb blaster, it will aid in the removal by lubrication.

lot of work. There is a bolt in the glove box that you will have to remove. first open your glove box and squeeze the two sides to drop the box out. then on the left towards the radio there is a gold bold. I believe 10mm socket would fit. unbolt that and that should free up the front to allow you to get the rest out. That little light is a pain to get to. alot of bolts and screws for one light.

I had the same prblem. There is a relay next to the heater blower that needs to be replaced.

you may not be able to replace it,the newer cars are not replaceable,they are servicedas a unit,,,call nissan and ask if they have a part number for that bulb,,,ask for the parts dept,,and if they say yes keep tearing it apart,but if not then u need the whole unit

look to find how its fastened in place and what electrical connectors are hooked up to it and how they are fastened to the switch.disconnect the wire connector first noting how you removed it.then disconnect the switch from its mounting again noting how and what you did to remove it then re-install the new one in reverse order.this is all a tech does to do the same job.

slide both seats forward as far as they will go and there are 2 screws on the bottom of the rear of the center console and then slide the seats all the way back and there should be a small piece of plastic that looks like it can be removed from underneath the hand brake and then 2 more screws holding the front of the center console in underneath the plastic piece that goes aROUND THE SHIFTER. if you can send me a pic of the front of the console if not it should be very easy to figure out if not what I said in the front of it just describe it to me.
