Auto Zone does not troubleshoot (other than reading codes) or repair vehicles. You have a potentially dangerous situation if you are smelling fuel inside the cabin. You need to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic or dealer. NOW.

The code P0135 is a fault code for the o2 sensor before the catalytic converter.Replace the o2 sensor and then reset the computer and it should be fine afterwards.The check engine light should stay off then.

Check forrestricted exhaust. If not, check injector resistance, and coil operation. are there any codes, or is thecheck, or service engine light on?

TheCheck Engine light is designed to warn you of problems with your vehicle. Is there somthing happening that makes you think the light should be on?

hahaha, go to a different place and check that engine check light again. go to autozone, advance auto or something. have them plug in the code scanner and it should give you exactly what needs to be change.

sounds like the trans is fried

check the fluid
then smell the fluid if it smells burnt then it likely is

Have you diconnected the battery for 20 min to reset the puter?

First thought it could be the oxgyen sensor. U may have to take it to a shop to see why thecheck engine light on. Advance or Autozone does it for free.

Is the light flashing on and of repeatedly ? If so that is a cadiliact damgaging misfire you. I would suggest a tune up if you have not done so already or lately

you cannot check the codes in a metro at least not too many tech can thecheck engine light is only a light that comes on if a system or systems fail or malfunction and will cause the car to fail emissions on that old of a car the light will do no harm on but I do believe the only people who have the equipment to check is the Chevy Dealer
