How to remove the front seat of a chevy equinox?

Power down the airbag system. Disconnect the airbag connector. Remove the plastic trim panels at the seat tracks. Remove the four bolts holding the seat to the floor. Lift seat out.

It is held in place by four bolts under the plastic trim covers at each corner of the seat, remove them and unplug the electrical connectors to the seat.

You see the circuit breaker, supplies voltage to power seat switch, You see the wire color? On hinge side of driver door is probably a wiring harness, probably has a protective rubber boot covering. Pull the boot back far enough to see wire colors, use a testlight, have to penetrate the insulation to get at the wiring. If no voltage, either wire is broken or check for voltage at the circuit breaker. Black wire is ground, check that also.

You see the wire colors for seat motors, those are voltage and ground, depending on which way the motor is moving.

check that the wheels have to correct offset and that the rims are not hitting inside on something and that the wheel centre is mounting firmly on the hub face.

I just bought my car and front seat floor boards were getting full of water took it back and the cause is Ac water line under dash was not connected and dumping water in dash and on floor

Most likely a front end problem such as idler arm or even balencing of the tires, ball joints, bent rim...ETC

This is you Airbag Readiness light. On start up, it should come on briefly while the vehicle goes through it's check and then go off.

If the light stays on when you're driving, have the system checked immediately. There is a possibility that a malfunction could actually deploy the airbag. It's important to have it checked.

All Equinoxes has yellow coloured wire harness to identify this as a air-bag system.
This yellow coloured wire 'system network' has connections in some areas...one is located at the front passenger's floor area close to the door (right-side corner area, just remove screw or clip and plastic trim part to gain access to see yellow wire there-it has socket plug connected with red clip-string to secure it) and another yellow wire is found between the front seats-you need to remove armrest, center console area and possible remove the front passenger seat to see yellow wire connect to black device underneath carpet in the middle.
Check to ensure the yellow wire sockets are plugged in properly, and not accidently cut or pulled off during your underseat repair.
In case your Equinox has roof side air-bag option, the yellow wire/sensor are located below the front seatbelt device inside the lower pillar frame area. (it's between the doors)
